With a quick sucking in of her stomach, diva extradonaire Mariah Carey perfects her trademark pose at VH1 Save The Music Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Gala at New York City’s famed Lincoln Center on Thursday.
Honorees “instrumental to saving the music” included former president Bill Clinton future president Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, John Sykes, NAMM: The International Music Products Association, and of course, the multi-octave songstress herself.
Further evidence that music today would simply not be the same without ‘Loverboy.’

she looks great in that color, but she always looks like she is sucking in her belly and hoding her breath- Chestica does the same thing.

I love the color of that dress. It’s an unexpected color. Pretty shade. And woah with the man arm’s now. Not all of us are born with broomstick arms.
You know, I used to think Mariah was a piece of trash. Then Britney came along and showed me what real trash is. Mariah is well-groomed, wearing her own hair and in good physical condition. She’s like the Mother Teresa of Hollywood!

She looks good in purple but in that first pic its like she’s going to topple over, like she’s too top heavy.
I think she looks great. Some of you people will criticize any and every damn thing when it’s really not called for.
I like the dress but I just have never been able to figure out her body type. So strange. I mean I know she is thin but a lot of the time I’m not so sure. It could be her shoulders or maybe the fact that her her clothes are just too tight? Her boobs also are really far apart as well…can’t really put my finger on what it is. I think she is a spectacularly talented woman though and even Loverboy wasn’t too bad a song really.
Stephi could it be a similar thing to Hayden Thingy? That they’re both very short but not ‘petite’ (eg eva longoria). Just short and normal size?
Also i think mariah looks fabulous here! If you can find a person that does not look good in purple i’ll give you 20 bucks! Its so flattering on all skin tones!
SAS, I think Hayden suffers from T-Rex arms where they’re too short for her body and I don’t think Mariah is sucking it in, its lipo and/or tummy tuck, which would explain why she’s only thin in the belly area.

SAS: Mariah is about 5′9, so she can’t be considered “short”…..lol
OMG the world is going to end soon. Mariah isn’t flaunting everything she owns in something three sizes too small and way too short. Still room for improvement but she doesn’t look nearly as trashy as usual.
