Alicia Silverstone’s PETA TV ad featuring the stunning actress in the nude has been pulled by Comcast Cable in Houston.
In the 30-second spot, A-Sliv is seen stepping out of a swimming pool, wearing nothing - although all you ever really see is her shapely badonkadonk for a brief second.

I don’t think this is sleazy at all! This ad really does show the female body in all its beauty and its not overtly sexual or anything at all. Alicia looks really really gorgeous and she’s doing it all for a great cause! I’ve got a newfound love for Ms Silverstone!

Well, there’s nothing exploding in it, there are no shootings, and no one is abusing Alicia, so that’s probably why corporate America doesn’t know how to handle it, so they censor the commercial. BUT SHE’S NEKKID!!!! If we look, we’re all going to hell.
I live in Houston and we are kind of prudes (in public at least). We are also the Strip Club capital of the US considering we have more strip clubs per capita than any other US city. Nothing like good old American hypocrisy!

honestly, I thought it was a bit much for television. children really don’t need to see that. Everyone seems to forget that they are not the only ones watching.
I am young, nowhere near a prude, hell I’ll be in the porn shop, strip club, drinking and swearing with everyone of age. But I just have a problem exposing children to things that are sexual. (Even though they aren’t to us, to 12 year olds you can bet they are)

She’s NAKED–this is not inherently SEXUAL. People get naked for LOTS of reasons other than sex–deep-tissue massage, baths, showers, trying on clothes while clothes shopping…and come to think of it, there’s nothing WRONG with SEXUALITY, either! As long as it’s two consenting adults who aren’t abusing each other, what’s wrong with sex? Okay, not for 12-year-olds, I have nieces and nephews, too. BUT. SAS - I never said that I think children should be exposed to violence, hell I am against that as well. However I am addressing this ad. And I think Randi hit the nail on the head, I really don’t see what her being naked has to do with the issue, and I think it’s indecent for television, but so are alot of other shows.
I think as adults we are ok with alot of things so we don’t see the problem with children seeing thise same things, be it naked bodies, blood violence, or anything else sick. and I don’t agree with it, which is why I will raise my children a certain way. Those are my feelings, deal with it!
