Leona Lewis was all laughs as she departed out of Los Angeles International Airport this afternoon (June 1).
The Brit songbird has been very busy in recent months laying down tracks for her highly anticipated sophomore album. In fact, her scheduled has been so packed that the Bleeding Love singer had to turn down an invitation to perform for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
“Leona was thrilled to be invited to dinner by Obama,” a source tells Britain’s Mirror. “She really wanted to meet him and his wife Michelle, who is a big fan and has her Spirit album. But it was really unfortunate that it clashed with her tight schedule to get her second album done.”
The insider adds: “Leona has had studio sessions in Los Angeles booked for months and has been working day and night getting things perfect. So there was no way she could make the trip to the White House.”

whatever. obama snubbed sarko and went to suck some saudi di#k and nobody said anything. he also snubbed the queen multiple times including the latest when he didn’t invite her to be a part of the DDAY ceremonies.
not to mention what’s he’s doing to this once proud nation.
Wow, what an incredibly dumb move. To have a meeting with any leader of a country extended your way is really an honor. That is very interesting . . .

She needs to get a bra that fits her. This looks like it’s cutting her boobs in half! I don’t own her album but I think she does nice ballads…will be interesting to see what she comes up with next. And she didn’t exactly ’snub’ the Obamas, she just couldn’t do it. I’m sure she would have if she had the time.
