Playing the role of makeshift den mother, Cameron Diaz arrived at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, CA on Sunday (May 31) with her My Sister’s Keeper co-stars, Sofia Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin.
Though she looked characteristically flawless on the red carpet, Cammy says she even has “ugly days.”
“Oh sh*t yeah, I have them,” she tells Parade, adding: “I don’t declare myself as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood - that’s other people’s label.”
However, the 36-year-old star says that it’s important to have a “healthy relationship with yourself” too.
“I don’t think that self deprecation is healthy for people,” she says. “We all have our up days and we all have our down days, but I’m not going to walk through this world hating myself because somebody else doesn’t think I’m pretty. All I can do is know how I feel about myself.”
