Marc Jacobs and Madonna were among the stars who were invited to the 2nd Annual Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic VIP party on Governors Island in New York City today (May 30).
Sipping on champagne, the cast of stars watched on as man-of-the-hour Prince Harry helped his team win 6-5 with the help of a chestnut-coloured pony called Serena. After the match, the famously hard-partying Prince was soaked in champagne.
This was Harry’s first time to New York and first trip abroad as official representative of Buckingham Palace.
Other invitees to the polo match included Chloe Sevigny, Donna Karan, Hilary Rhoda and Kate Hudson.
The A-list attendees were all invited to the official after-party at Pink Elephant, but Prince Harry was wisely flown out of town before the fun began.

oh madonna…such a bad mother! i bet that little girl mercy is just so happy she wasn’t adopted. i mean didn’t you know…life in an orphanage in Malawi is so much better than spending time with madonna at a polo match!!yeah….great thinking

No after party for Harry? That blows! What’s the point? if you can’t go to the after party and take advantage of being a prince.
I’m surprised that this was Harry’s first visit to New York! You would think he would have been there plenty of times before! It’s funny how Madonna pretends to be so British and royal…it’s so far from the truth. I think she’s an awesome performer and I’ll always love her but the woman is not classy.

Hilary Rhoda is so pretty. She looks like a cleaner, classier version of Megan Fox.
I feel bad for Mercy. She’s in an orphanage filled with 100s of children receiving minimal care, nourishment, and a poor education, if anything, while David is having the time of his life with his mom and siblings.
But I guess the important part is that Madonna was told ‘no’ and that she didn’t get what she wanted, right? Who cares about the little girl involved in all of this. Madonna wears a costume to a costume party, so that must mean she’s a bad mom anyway.
