Adam Lambert is set to go public with his sexuality in the next issue of Rolling Stone.
“He didn’t want it to be an issue during the contest, but he’s fine with his sexuality,” a source tells the New York Post.
A rep for Rolling Stone says, “We don’t comment on future covers.”
Photos of Adam kissing a man have been published extensively on the internet and were discussed by conservative commentators on The O’Reilly Factor.
The 27-year-old American Idol reject has in the past stated that he has nothing to hide about his sexuality.

I thing it is not cool for him to waite to “come out” until he gets paid to do so on a mag cover. I guess he will do anything for $$$ and fame. His ego is already outa control, dissing Gene Simmons and such.
I thought everyone already assumed he is gay…which has nothing to do with him being a great performer–which he is !!!! Would be cool though if he “came out” as a straight with a hot girl friend—LOL.

Rolling stone does not pay artists or celebrities for being on the cover. You keep posting this around but it is false accusation.

I am a 50 year old grandma… & to me it is no big deal if he is or is not “gay”. He is a breath of fresh air. He bought life back to American Idol, and I LOVED to see what he was going to do each week. I am sorry it is over because of him.
Look at how proud his parent and his brother is of him… To have your family support for your choices in life is wonderful. Why not focus on this… instead of his if he is or not “gay”.
This will not change the way he entertains us with his music… If anything, it has made him more aware of the way he wants to share his music choices with us.

My god get over it. Who cares if he is gay or not? I’m pretty sure it didn’t affect the competition, it was fairly obvious that he was gay. It’s insane how big a deal people make about someone in the entertainment industry coming out. I don’t really think it deserves as cover. Eyyy, I really didnt want to comment and get into the whole “adam lambert:GAY?!?!?!” thing… But I felt the need to say that he should never have been on the cover of rolling stone. It’s a rock magazine, not a come out and state your already obvious sexual orientation magazine. I didnt read the whole article, but I did see his pictures…..I thought it was all pretty overdone.
