Perfecting her two-step, Katie Holmes was seen heading back to a dance studio in Pacific Palisades, CA today (May 28) with 3-year-old Suri in her arms.
Soon the 30-year-old actress will head to Melbourne, Australia to film her forthcoming thriller Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark.
The multi-million dollar project, scripted by critically acclaimed Guillermo del Toro, centres on a girl who moves into a new home with her father and his girlfriend but eventually discovers that they are sharing the house with devilish creatures. It is based on a 1973 TV movie.
Katie is the first name to sign up in the movie and will play the lead role. The film is set for a 2011 release.

I like Katie but I just don’t think she is very commanding on screen.
poor suri. the psychological damage being inflicted on her is child abuse. suri always looks terrified and her parents keep dragging her out for show and tell. tom cruise NEVER did this with the other 2 kids.
I agree with Jack! She doesn’t really have big screen appeal and the whole Tome Cruise deal was not a good thing for her career imo.
….that’s the best she could do? a slasher flick??? Tara Reid probably turned down that role…so sad…her film career just fizzled….all she does now is dodge the media and get brainwashed by the co$…..
This is a low budget TV MOVIE .. GET IT.. NOT EXACTLY THE TOM CRUISE LEAGUE.. FOR KATIE..

I think that kid is disturbed. She really annoys me. They won’t be able to keep it hidden forever.
