A moving crew was snapped arriving to load a truck with furniture from the acting couple’s West Village brownstone yesterday (May 26). At one point, Matthew could be seen up in his car to check on the movers’ progress.
It looks like the couple decided more room is needed for their home as they prepare to welcome twins (via a surrogate) into their family.
So what awaits the expectant parents at their new home? A $20 000 nursery!
Among their purchases are a $6500 day bed and a $7000 armoire from high-end furniture company Bonne Nuit, a $5400 double crib with Louis XIV bedding from Duetta Crib Mate and a $1700 rocking horse imported from Europe.
A source tells British publications: “Sarah Jessica and Matthew will spend whatever it takes to make the nursery perfect. They want to give it a classical French look.”

I know they can afford it but I still think it’s crazy to put 20 000 for things they’re going to keep only 3 years
Talk about conspicuous consumption! I bet they get divorced anyway.
The armoire and daybed are not “child only” pieces furniture and I hope they would be used more than 3 years. The $5000+ crib does sound pricey though.
Seems they are as opulent as Jennifer Lopez yet they are not criticized mercilessly for it, especially during hard times….can you say double standard.
