President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were the epitome of casual cool as they left the White House on Saturday (May 23) for a quick holiday trip to Camp David.
Expect to see a whole lot more of the Obama family as more than a dozen NBC cameras and crews will descend on the White House on Friday.
They’ll be placed throughout the West Wing and other areas of the White House, taping footage for a special hosted by Brian Williams offering viewers a look Inside the Obama White House. It will air Tuesday and Wednesday next week (June 2 and 3) at 9 p.m. And just before airtime on Tuesday, the eve of President Obama’s trip to the Middle East and Europe, Williams will tape a one-on-one interview with the President that will be part of the broadcast.

I think the Obamas are nice, unlike some of the bitter people submitting nasty comments on gossip sites about nearly every posted subject.
Good question. I hate to say it but yes: They are running the risk of becoming over-exposed. And it wasn’t until I read an interview with their social secretary Desiree Rogers who made it clear that she wants to create the Obama “brand.” That made me nauseated because I don’t support or respect the selling and marketing of the office. I understand why it has to happen the extent it does during the elections, but that is over now. So let’s take it down several notches IMO.
