KRIS IS AN ITUNES IDOL. ADAM? NOT SO MUCH

lambert_allen_cwny_052609

Adam Lambert and Kris Allen were all smiles as they stepped out in New York City today (May 26) after performing on CBS’s Early Show.

While Black Eyed Peas spend another week at #1 on iTunes, Kris has grabbed enough downloads to nab the #2 spot on the Top 10 entries this week on the iTunes Top 10. (The Peas are at #1 with Boom Boom Pow and are poised to hold another week at #1 on Billboard as well.)

Kris’s single, No Boundaries, co-written by Idol judge Kara Dioguardi, climbs to #2 on iTunes. His cover of Kanye West’s Heartless is also at #10 this week.

Adam didn’t make the iTunes cut but it appears he’s a huge hit in New Zealand — his version of No Boundaries is #4 on the island country’s list.

I think in the long run, Adam will have a much bigger career. Kris is very average to me. Especially in the music industry.

lol @ pete - no shit.
nah, adam is already in the “WHO” stage.
Kris is more of a down to earth person - thats why he won

The bigger question is - who in their right mind would download either singer’s version of No Boundaries? That song is pure suck.

I think they’re both good but it sucks how underrated Kris was due to all the hype Adam got. I think Kris is a good combo of damien rice, Jason mraz and John Mayer. His style is a lot more relaxed and easier to listen to, so I’m not surprised that he’s got so many downloads.

I think ADAM is way overrated. He would be good on broadway, but I would never buy his cd. I liked Alison.

I agree that “No Boundaries” is a terrible song but Kris can pull off the acoustic version. All that background stuff is NOT NEEDED.

    But yeah, terrible song.

I think you should check Itunes especially the music videos and see who is dominating. I think you will find Adam is on top there. Itunes took down Adams Splash on the homepage, but people are still finding Adam.

You know I had to come back after checking out the Itunes sites. Your information is so full of holes. Yes. Kris has the #2 spot in the songs list. But Adam has 7 songs listed in the top 100 songs compared to Kris Allen’s 4. Then on the video list Adam completely dominates the top 100 with #1 being his performance with KISS. He has 19 videos highly place in the Top 100 compared to 12 by Kris which most are in the bottom 50. So even with the push the Idol machine is giving Kris people would much rather see Adam than hear Kris.

I really do think Adam has got a career in this industry. Not only does he look like a superstar but his voice is just amazing…him singing Satisfaction was seriously hot. He would be an amazing new frontman for Queen…I know there’s been talk about that as well. Kris has got a great voice as well, but I feel like he’s missing that X Factor that Adam has.

Oh, please, how can you compare an Adam Lambert to Kris Allen? Adam is a superstar. Even though I’m an Adam fan, I’m glad Kris won Idol a. because Adam is; it’s his friend, and b. because that’s all Kris will ever have. Adam is going to be a legend.

Adam had so many downloads the week of each performance immediately after they were released that by the time the idol was crowned, everyone already had all of his studio versions. I think that if it were released how many each had for the total season, you would see that
    Adam dominated.
