BRITNEY FORCED TO UNDERGO DRUG TESTING!

britney-forced-to-undergo-drug-testing.jpg

Ouch!

In what is only the latest blow in the neverending custody battle between Britney Spears and ex-hubby Kevin Federline, a judge has ordered the former princess of pop to undergo testing for the use of controlled substances after he deemed that “there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol by (Britney).”

While there has been no changes made to their 50/50 custody arrangement (yet!), Brit is not allowed to consume alcohol or drugs before or after the first 12 hours of her turn with custody.

In addition, Britney must meet with a Parenting Coach for a minimum of eight hours per week and is also required to engage in individual counseling to address parenting issues.

Sounds like this judge knows what he’s doing.

Better be on your best behaviour, Brit!

In a closed hearing on Monday, Los Angeles judge Scott M. Gordon set a lengthy list of rules that parents Britney Spears and Kevin Federline must follow in order to retain custody of their sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. The list, revealed today, includes the following shared requirements for the former couple:

    · Neither Brit nor K-fed can take Sean and Jayden out of state without the written consent of the other.

    · The exes cannot make derogatory statements about each other.

    · Both parents must complete the “Parenting Without Conflict” program.

    · Each party is restrained from using corporal punishment with the children or allowing anyone else to.

    · They are required to engage in joint co-parenting counseling.

    · Neither party may consume alcohol or non-prescription controlled substances 12 hours prior to taking custody of the children.

    · They must ensure that any prospective childcare professionals hold valid Red Cross infant CPR training.

While the responsibilities for Federline end there, Judge Gordon tacked on an extra list of tasks for Spears. In order to maintain the current shared custody agreement, the popstar must:

    · Attend individual counseling to address parenting issues at least once a week.

    · Meet with a parenting coach for a minimum of 8 hours a week, in at least two sessions a week. The coach is to observe her interaction with kids and her parenting skills and then provide Federline with a written progress report by October 22.

    · And, “based on the evidence presented, the Court finds that there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances by Petitioner [Spears],” will have to undergo testing for controlled substances and alcohol. The testing shall be conducted twice per week on random dates and times, and the results will be forwarded to the court.

oh man, that is AWESOME!!! Finally a judge who knows what he’s doing (next to Paris’ judge LOL). It’d be hilarious if her first drug test comes back with a lot of stuff on it. She needs to learn from this and straighten herself out.

Twice a week testing? Damn. I wish they would have taken one right after she stepped off stage from the VMA awards. They would have found God knows what because she was not all there. What is up with the corporal punishment thing? Who was doing the spanking? It sounds like she was having nannied do it or something. That shit is STRANGE!

All these people saying they should take the kids away need to stop and think a little bit. Sure Britney may be making mistakes but you can’t just all of a sudden take children away from their mother. That would be traumatic for her kids and really unfair if it turned out she wasn’t doing anything wrong. I think this judge sounds like he/she is on the ball and I really hope Britney takes this opportunity to clean up her act once and for all. She needs to ban alcohol and drugs from her life altogether in my opinion not just the first 12 hours or whatever.

But it’s okay for the coke snortin, pot smokin sperm donor to have them with no testing. She needs a better lawyer.

Anonymous it seems that you are the one that needs to go and “sit under a rainbow”- maybe it will help you to become less of an asshole?
The parenting counsellor is a great idea but i really think brit has never been capable of being a mother to those kids and it will take a lot more than drug testing and a few hours of counselling to turn her around.

Stephi - I know we disagree on this subject, but its not like she’s hanging out w/ them 24/7. How often do they really see her? They’ve been going over and visiting their dad, I’m sure it wouldn’t be that dramatic. GETTING THE POINT ACROSS to Britney is what is important. CATCH YOUR SNAP GIRL!

And, b, so they are free to use non-prescription controlled substances when the kids aren’t around? WTF???

I’m sure Britney’s next legal move will be to petition for a different judge. I hope they don’t let her get away with it. She needs someone with authority, who she can’t fire or cut out of her life, to tell her to straighten up and how to do it. It’s about damn time. It’s too bad all the other, non-famous people who suck at parenting don’t get this kind of help. You have to pass a test to get a driver’s license but any dumb ass can have a kid. Don’t jump all over me, I know most parents are amazing and they don’t get the credit they deserve. I’m just saying, there are a lot of idiots out there too.

Love the “corporal punishment” clause. God forbid that we touch the little princes. We want them to grow up to be the same California fruitcakes as other celebrity spawn, don’t we?

  14. September-18-2007 @ 8:06 pm

The kids would be better off with a parent that is there for them. Not out every night boozing it up, getting laid by different people every night.
They need a parent that loves them more then they love themself. Period.
The less of these two evils is purely Kevin.
She did this to herself, and I hope and pray she will be HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HER DUMBASS WAYS……………. :) :) :)

RaraAvis: children should NOT be hit. It does nothing but humiliate the child and fuck them up. I DO agree that there should be consequences for their actions, and very strict ones (depending on the situation). Parents are so busy trying to be friends with their kids, or BUYING them everything they want. BUYING your kids stuff does NOT automatically make you a good parent. Toddlers would rather have cardboard boxes, Tupperware and Mommy/Daddy’s attention than all the best toys/books.

Your worst than Perez. The Judge also ordered K-fed the parental classes (One of those classes is drug abuse. and they both have to attend) Someone is hitting these Kids because also the Judge said. No ONE can hot those kids. including spouses.n the help. (who hitting her kids ?) He also said NO ONE can talk bad about the other including people n family around them. (HMM people be talking some mad shit too). On top of that Britney Hired yet another Lawyer. (My question Why wasnt K-fed order to DRUG test when he and SHAR have admitted on tape he smokes weed. Quote “I just won’t smoke it around the kids” The man is a sperm donor with 4 kids. when isnt he around them.? He doesn’t work !!

Kids today. they all want you to bend down and say I love u lil billy now dont do it again..now give me a hug.
and next thing you know ol billy is the terror on the block.

Its so unfair that she has to go for parenting classes and not K-Fed. Its not as if she ill-treats her kids or doesnt take care of them. Its just that she was constantly photographed wherever she went and pple were waiting for her to make a slip.People who say that they have a right to take her kids away shd really put yourselves in her shoes and imagine the kind of life she has to lead under the spotlight of the whole world. It cant be easy at all. Give her a break!

Stephi: I can’t give anybody a break who ENCOURAGES their children to play in a bird bath. Or, when stumbling, does NOT instinctively drop their beverage to ensure they don’t drop their child. If the paps are really the problem, she should make the proactive decision to drop out of Hollywood and raise her kids in the middle of nowhere. That’s what Brit can do to prove to herself the kids are a priority.
