BRISTOL AND TRIPP DO ‘PEOPLE’

bristol-baby-people

Bristol Palin returned to Wasilla High School and finished the year just five days after giving birth to baby son Tripp. With a 3.49 grade point average, no less!

And now the new mom thinking about the next step in her education. Her mom Sarah Palin tells People. “I’m so proud of her.”

Bristol isn’t sure whether college is in her future – she’s thinking a two-year business program – but for right now, she’s busy working as an advocate for teen-pregnancy prevention.

“Girls need to imagine and picture their life with a screaming newborn baby and then think before they have sex,” she tells People. “If girls realized the consequences of sex, nobody would be having sex. Trust me. Nobody.”

I admire her for her courage.
The Media will try to destroy her, but she has her Mom’s strength of character.
She has a great future ahead after learning a hard lesson.
Sadly most girls never learn and end up being societies parasites at the expense of hard working TAXPAYERS….

    Well, she IS an idiot.
Having sex will not get you pregnant if you use PROTECTION. So instead of damning sex, she should talk about save sex and protection.
    DOH!

I appreciate what she is trying to do. I had a baby when I was 18 and it really sucked. If she can get that message out to girls and make even one girl understand that then hey more power to her.

    Famewhore.

How much $$$ did she get for this interview? She sold Tripp’s baby pictures for $250,000.

I bet she wants a reality show next. Her and the Octo-mom.

Bristol is right, only abstinence is full proof.

    LOL, Me.

You just admitted that you got accidently knocked up TWICE, first time because you were to stupid to take a pill and remember it and second time because you were even more stupid and trusted your klutzy date.

You should absolutely not call anyone but yourself an idiot.

Besides: How do your kids feel about the fact that you tell the world via internet that you did not want them?

Its called a condom. You use it and youre okay 99.9% of the time.

Once again, F U ‘ME’. What’s the saying? The exception the proves the rule. Probably just slutty.

these liberals would love her if she was gay or had a late-term abortion…even if the baby was born alive after being poked in the skull and sucked out, obama repeatedly voted to have it put on a shelf to die.
he is THE most pro-abortion prez ever.
but it’s above his pay grade to comment further.

    Janet -
if you would read the damn side of the box -
PILLS & CONDOMS are NOT I repeat NOT 100% full proof.

Nah - I wanted my kids, more then anything. I did the correct thing and not kill them like you f*cking liberals do.

I admit that my first son was absolutely not planned, but I was dumb enough to be on nothing. My second was very much planned. So I’ve never had a oops on birth control. But a friend of mine has an IUD (which I am also on now) and she got pregnant too. Soo…what about that?

If girls knew the consequences of sex, they would use protection. I’m sorry, but while no contraceptive is FOOL proof- not full proof- if you take the pill religiously- every day, never miss, know about how antibiotics can weaken it, etc.- and you use condoms to be smart and protect yourself from STD’s, it is *virtually* impossible to get pregnant. And it’s just smart practice to use BC and condoms- BC to prevent pregnancy, condoms to protect you and also to provide another barrier (literally, haha) against pregnancy. By playing the fear card she’s just reinforcing the same scare tactic absolutist all or nothing BS that got her ass pregnant in the first place.

The abstinence only programs bank on making teens scared enough so that they won’t have sex. They give totally false information out about how condoms are “almost useless”, they give incorrect statistics- my friend was taught that birth control pills, when used perfectly, are only 75% effective. Um, no, that’s a lie, again, just trying to fear monger the kids into keeping their pants on. And when they *do* break down and have sex, they’re totally unprepared, and probably mistakenly believe, like they’ve been taught, that condoms and BC don’t really help anyway. Bristol, of all people, should be advocating teaching kids about safer sex.

Me - your answer to my post makes absolutely no sense.

What is your point, aside from proving again that your polemic is not based on rational thought?

You say that you wanted your kids more than anything else and so you did the *correct* thing and had them. That makes no sense. Either you wanted them, or you did the correct thing. And liberal women kill their kids while you wouldn’t? Remember, you just said you wanted them. If a liberal woman wants her kid, she won’t have an abortion either.

Good for you if you never went through an unwanted pregnancy, but sheer luck shouldn’t make you so selfrightous.

About everything else - ITA with Sophia!

All of you playing that holier than thou role (e.g. Miss Janet) really need to shut the fuck up. Me, you don’t need to defend yourself. Fuck these idiots. They will most likely wind up the parent of a pregnant teen.

We ALL know the consequences of sex. It remains irresistingly delicious. That’s how each of us came into existence, afterall. Bristol sounds like she had a poor lover, poor thing, or a selective memory. Maybe both.

Kids having kids is not a good thing. But this argument goes no where. And notice the onus is placed only on the female.

This cover is stupid! I think it’s great that she’s continued on with her education but we don’t need a cover of People to tell us all about it. What’s the bet Sarah Palin forced this girl to finish her education and get into teen pregnancy prevention?

    May-22-2009 @ 1:31 pm

MissJanet, are you really as stupid as you seem? No form of birth control is 100% effective. So even if you practice “save sex” (as you called it) you can get knocked up. What part of that don’t you understand?
