What’s a girl to do when her new boyfriend is not around? Hang out with his little sister, of course!
And that is exactly what Selena Gomez did yesterday (May 18) as she played the role of dutiful girlfriend by hanging out with Taylor Lautner’s younger sister Makena and Hutch Dano. The trio along with another friend dined at Earl’s Restaurant before shopping for DVDs in Vancouver, BC.
Meanwhile, despite having a movie star beau, Selena has revealed she doesn’t want to date a fellow celebrity.
The 16-year-old star of TV show Wizards Of Waverly Place tells Teen Vogue: “I used to say that I wanted someone cute and nice, an actor too, so he’d get it, but now I think it would be good for me to date someone who’s not in the business.”
Selena goes on: “I want someone honest, someone who’s very sweet to my family and friends, and polite to the other people around me. Being cool, having a ‘cool’ energy, is just not attractive to me.”
The actress also revealed she is gearing up for the release of her debut album, which will be filled with songs that reflect her life.
“I want my fans to know me a little bit better after they hear this record,” she says.

I think she is pretty and seems to be a little more at ease with what she does.
I don’t really see what is so amazing about this girl. She’s very plain to look at, but I would rather her than Miley’s toothy grin any day! It definately is the time for all these tween stars. There used to be hardly any young celebrities for tweens to look up to and now they are everywhere! Oh and ps..what kind of name is Hutch?
