Julia Louis-Dreyfus was running on empty, admitting that she only ate scrambled egg-whites for breakfast before getting prepared for the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Looks like her little diet secret worked — Julia looked stunning in one of the top colours for this fall - purple. Her dress was a deep jewel colour by Narciso Rodriguez with a scoop neck and pintucks on the bust. Fun yet fierce!

She looks fantastic! I’ve never really though of her has that attractive but she really looks amazing here! I’m loving purple right now, its a great, fun summer color! It’s kind of strange to me that she admitted she had hardly eaten anything…normally stars don’t admit they starve themselves to look good on a particular day and she never struck me as the type to be that concerned about her appearance.

hmm i’ve never been a fan of hers but she does look good here. purple is a very flattering colour on everyone.
She has definitely gotten better with age, and I think she generally makes good choices for the red carpet.
Purple is by no means an easy color to wear, but this shade looks fab with her hair and coloring.

Yeah, her Father is from the famous Louis-Dreyfus french family …. Her Father is worth approx $5 BILLION … I always wonder why she became an actress - she obviously has no need to work - i guess it’s admirable that she does though.
