Award-winning actress Salma Hayek reprieved her role as godmother of PUMA Ocean Racing’s il mostro as she and her husband Francois-Henri Pinault took the helm Saturday (May 16) at the Boston to Galway race leg start of the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-09.
PUMA Ocean Racing is currently in third place overall and is the only sport-lifestyle company to participate in the 37 000 nautical mile race around the world. The race ends in June in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Once the nautical festivities were over, Salma and co. headed to Kings, where she met up with her Grown Ups co-stars including Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, Maria Bello and Kevin James. The group of celebs, their families and crew members spent the night bowling and bonding during a preproduction party for the flick, which began filming yesterday inside the Pilgrim Congregational Church as well as the Old Burial Ground in Southboro.
The flick is about high school buds who return home for their beloved basketball coach’s funeral.
