Clad in Reem Acra, ‘Heroes’ star Ali Larter looks surprisingly good for someone who did her own hair and makeup.

As part of a Dove Hair Care child outreach program, Ali bypassed the usual pre-award show professional hairstyling routine by creating her own hairstyle, sans a team of stylists.

The 31-year-old actress’ goal was to inspire women to start loving the hair they have and not compare it to the unattainable images they see in the media and Hollywood.

    Well of course she looks good I’d like to see someone like Kate Moss do this. She hasn’t looked ‘naturally’ good since the late 90’s.

    She looks amazing, and I love that dress! I agree with Samantha Jones, she doesn’t need a lot of work, she’s already beautiful.

    Damn, Ali looks better than ever there. I find it hard to believe that no stylists helped her, even no gay friends helping???
    She’s one of those people who look better as they age.

    They need to find some black women to be apart of that campaign, cause none of these black celebrities wear their own hair anymore. Not only that, the hair they wear comes from China and India and is not a realistic representation of african hair.

    I think she’s one of the most beautiful celebs out there. There’s something about her beauty that’s very natural and refreshing. Love her :).

    Its not like it takes that much effort to blowdry your hair out like that. If she’d had it done in some work of art up do or something than I would have been impressed but most girls I know can do their hair like this is 15 minutes. I think she looked fantastic though! Real understated elegance and red looks great on her.

    wow good for her ..funny how she didn’t have a makeup team or hair stylist and she looks the best or one of the best i have seen so far ..i fucking hate how everyone in hollywood wears fake hair ..it pisses me off .. i dont have very thick hair im not bald or anything my hair is thin like ali’s but sometimes i get self conscience about it so im glad that she is showing young girls that thin normal hair is just as beautiful ..out of all the cheap satin bedsheets on the red carpet hers looks the best .
