It was an early Christmas as Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey kicked off week two of the Cannes Film Festival today (May 18).
Arriving on a sleigh surrounded by tons of fake snow, the A-list couple was seen attending the photo call for A Christmas Carol at the The Carlton Hotel. The faux flurries turned the grassy knoll in front of the 5-star hotel into a wintry wonderland under the blistering Mediterranean sun.
In the movie, the 47-year-old funnyman plays curmudgeonly Ebenezer Scrooge, with Gary Oldman as his clerk and Colin Firth as his nephew. Disney is engineering a seven-month campaign to get A Christmas Carol positioned for its Christmastime opening.
