Funny girl/hot mama Debra Messing reigns as queen of the primetime red carpet in a classic black and white Ralph Lauren floor length gown at the 59th annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 38-year-old star, who is nominated for Best Actress in a Mini-Series for ‘Starter Wife’, kept her dress simple to allow her uber glamorous diamond chandelier earrings to shine at the star-studded event.

Debra looks amazing there! Very beautiful and interesting dress, great hair and makeup. But then again, she’s always looking amazing on the red carpet.

I don’t think white is her colour. It’s not good on pale people. This is why I’m going to make sure I have lots of sex before I get married so I can’t wear white like Queen Victoria*.

I love that dress, but not on her. She looks too washed out.
She would die if she couldn’t do the red carpet. She’s such an attention whore. She gets out of the limo and immediately looks for the cameras.

she looks okay ..i like her hair and her earrings are very lovely but the dress is kinda ugly …glad to see she’s finally getting rid of the baby weight ..she looks much better pencil thin

She normally opts for a plain, classic sort of look and it really works for her! She is one of the few people that will be able to look back in 10 years time at her red carpet choices and not cringe. This dress is just gorgeous and it looks fantastic on her! One of the best looks of the night that’s for sure!
