Getting fans excited to walk for a good cause, Hilary Duff and her boyfriend Mike Comrie participated in a big AIDS fundraiser today (May 17), the Gay Men’s Health Crisis’ AIDS Walk in New York City’s Central Park.
The annual walk helps fund the nation’s oldest AIDS service organization. An estimated 45 000 participants hope to raise more than $8 million.
Hilary served as co-host of the AIDS Walk opening ceremony and she walked with her ‘Hilary Duff – Walk with Love’ team.
After the walk, a rally for gay marriage equality is scheduled for Times Square.
The former tween queen already taped an AIDS Walk PSA running in New York and threw the switch to illuminate the Empire State Building red, the color synonymous with AIDS awareness earlier this week.
