Jennifer Love Hewitt and her current squeeze Jamie Kennedy were seen strolling arm-in-arm through New York’s trendy Soho district last night (May 16) as they make their way to the Comix comedy club where Jamie had a scheduled performance.

While en route, J.Love doesn’t seem to pay Kennedy much attention as he insisted on snapping photos with his digital camera. Once they arrived at the club, the lovebirds could be seen stopping to share a kiss.

Perhaps for good luck?

Star magazine recently reported that Miss Hewitt and Mr. Kennedy are expecting a baby after the actress was spotted buying a pregnancy test at a CVS Pharmacy in Studio City, CA. A source told the ever-reliable publication: “If she is expecting, then it was totally unplanned and would come as a shock. Jennifer has always said she wants kids, but she was definitely thinking later rather than sooner.”

When shutterbugs quizzed the couple about whether the reports were true, they remained mum (excuse the pun) but got a good chuckle from the suggestion.
