Picture perfect couple Eva Longoria and Tony Parker lit the red carpet on fire as they attended the Bright Star premiere at the Grand Theatre Lumiere during the 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival today (May 15).
While the San Antonio Spurs’ guard look debonaire in a classic tux, his Desperate Housewives star wife was a vision in Versace Atelier Spring 2009.
Also on hand? Bright Star actress Abbie Cornish – noticeably sans boyfriend Ryan Phillippe. In the tragic romance, she plays John Keats’ (Ben Whishaw) girl-next-door lover Fanny Brawne. And as Entertainment Weekly puts it: “Their chemistry is a potent one, as Cornish’s provocative aura of sexual willfulness challenges Whishaw’s expressions of stricken pining.”

Eva notwithstanding, Abbie Cornish looks gorgeous. It’s her movie that’s being premiered. Ryan’s around there somewhere, just out of the limelight.

I really want Eva’s red carpet wardrobe! I love everything she wears! She looks great here, but I’m wondering why she is there as well. Is it just because her husband is French? I don’t get it. Abbie looks fabulous and actually has a movie opening at Cannes, she should be the one featured in this post.
