The Backstreet Boys (yes, they’re still alive) just dropped their first video from their sixth studio album.

It’is called ‘Inconsolable’….which describes exactly how I feel after watching this crap.

As soon as he said “I CLOSED THE DOOR” I closed the window.
Worst 1.5 seconds of my life.

There is absolutely nothing remotely original about both the song & video.

Everything is bad about it. The song, the video, the cheesy way they look in the camera. It’s just awfull

OMG Arasto!! I’m doubled over in laughter! That’s exactly how I feel. I couldn’t get past the first couple of seconds though.

It wasn’t awful in 1999, but almost ten years later you’d think they could evolve a little bit with their sound. Isn’t that what music is about; staying relevant? well, good music anyway.

Guess I’m the only one who likes the song and the boys. They look older and better to me, especially the one with the tatoos (don’t know his name). He’s put on more weight and looks healthy. I remember he had a drug problem? and went to rehab. More power to them!

I was a fan, yes years ago. But I couldn’t stand them now for more than a few seconds. Gimme Robbie.

Awww I’m a hardcore fan. It just stuck wih me since I was 10 years old and never left me:-) Brian was always my favorite, damn him for getting married and crushing all my dreams. Wasn’t their last single also called something like unbreakable, unforgiveable???

First poster, I felt you weren’t giving them a fair change but goddamn you’re right, that whiny voice made me feel even more ill….
P.S: I always thought Backstreet Boys sounded like a euphemisim for a-n-a-l…….; )

Okay, the song sounds like any other slow song they had before. And the video looks HORRIBLE. Nick looks bad and so does AJ. Howie and Brian look better than ever. But I do miss Kevin, I always thought he was the hottest one.

I love the song, the video is pretty typical Backstreet-but hey, nowadays Backstreet is underground stuff. I mean hell-love strong vocals in great harmony singing lyrics that don’t have to have “explicit” next to them as a warning? God forbid. Nick’s looking great with the weight loss.

Nick has that crazed psycho look in his eye… didn’t he used to beat up Paris when they dated?

I don’t think the song is too bad…a little bit similar to Incomplete. They like the ‘in’ words don’t they? I think there new songs are a lot better than their old ones though, more mature and less cheesy.

They sound exactly the same as they did back in the day–no surprises here. It’s just a little weird to hear bubble-gum pop coming out of these thirty-something guys, that’s all. But then again, I guess it’s weird hearing rock’n'roll coming out of senior citizens (Mick Jagger/Rolling Stones).

I’m sure their fans are glad they’re back.
