Yet another reason to love Las Vegas.
Where else would you have a Mayor who publicly declares the official start of summer with the world’s largest bikini parade?
And who better than to lead the ladies but everyone’s favourite Girls Next Door, Holly Madison.
Hundreds of women (well, 281 to be exact) donned barely-there swimwear and walked down a stretch of the Strip this afternoon (May 14), following Sin City Mayor Oscar Goodman’s proclamation in front of the historic ‘Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas’ sign. It’s the 50th anniversary of the installation of the sign.
Guinness representatives were even on hand to present a plaque to the event’s organizers.
As she led models down the Strip, Miss Madison — clad in a gray, white and pink vintage two-piece — joked that being in a bikini is something she’d like to do every day. “Who doesn’t want summer a month early? I’ve been lobbying for it my whole life, frankly,” she said.

She must know that her career is pretty much in the crapper if you are doing this kind of event.
I think Holly’s doing pretty well for herself actually. Sure she’s not out there doing anything amazing, but was she ever? She’s keeping herself busy and relevant and that’s all that really matters in this industry. She’s looking awesome as well, her body is really hot! I think she has a good sense of humor as well and doesn’t seem to take herself so seriously.
