Robert Pattinson celebrated his 23rd birthday in Vancouver, BC on Wednesday night (May 13).
Fans endured the rainy weather for a chance to see their Twilight hunk and he was gracious enough to pose with a few of them before leaving.
Despite his last year being a life-changing one for the young heartthrob, Mr. Pattinson remained somewhat subdued while celebrating his birthday with castmates and friends.
Meanwhile, Robert says he is amazed by the extreme lengths Twilight fans will go to in order to attract his attention.
“One time there were these four girls — in Chicago I think — and they had all scratched their necks until they bled, and then when they came up to me they had these bleeding scabs. It was gross,” he says.
The young actor adds: “I feel guilty because when you have hundreds of people looking to you, you have to live up to expectations. You see all these people that surround you and you think that one way or another you have to please them.”

I don’t know about you guys….but I don’t find him attractive at all. He always looks dirty to me.
He doesn’t seem to happy to be taking these pictures. Enjoy it while is lasts, vampire guy.
There is something about him that makes him sexy. It’s his intense eyes and his scruffy style. I like it. I think the Twilight fans are a little crazy though. Scratching their necks!?? Are you kidding!! Do they realise that he’s not ACTUALLY a vampire lol It must be pretty entertaining for him but kind of annoying, he doesn’t seem like the type of guy that likes too much attention or spotlight.
