Sarah Michelle Gellar was busy filming her upcoming movie, The Wonderful Maladys, in New York City today (May 23). Much to her delight, the expectant actress got surprise on-set visit from her husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
The upcoming Charles Randolph-created TV series — about the dysfunctional lives of three adult siblings who lost their parents at a young age — marks 32-year-old Sarah Michelle’s first foray into TV since Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended in 2003.
SMG is currently pregnant with the couple’s first child, due this fall. While we’re thrilled that they’re expecting, part of us is a little bummed since it puts the kibosh on rumours of a Buffy movie.

Wow! I haven’t seen or heard about her in while. She looks good and hopefully she will still do the Buffy movie at some point.
