British beauty Kate Winslet and her 6-year-old daughter Mia and 3-year-old son Joe enjoy a sunny morning in New York City on Tuesday.
Kate was fulfilling her mommy duties by taking her young daughter to school.
Needless to say, Mia was not feelin’ it.

I love Kate. She seems really grounded, and to see Hollywood for the scene that it is. She actually interacts with her children, which is saying a lot for Hollywood Parents (yes I know they live in NYC, I am referring to the Business)
I like the fact that she just seems normal and her body isn’t stick skinny. It sucks when you drop your kids off at school and they throw a fit to go home with you.

That poor little girl!! She doesn’t look like she wants to go to school too much! It’s funny because if this was Britney walking a crying child to school everyone would be saying that she was a bad mother. Kids cry. That’s just the way it is and often its got nothing to do with their parents. Kate seems like a great mom and I really respect the way that she has managed to live a relatively normal life and still be one of the best actresses out there. Sure she’s not on the cover of every magazine and in a top rating movie every year but I’m sure she’s happy with it like that.

There’s nothing wrong with what she’s wearing. She’s a hands on mother taking care of her children. I’d rather see her in an outfit like this than what Posh wears when she’s out with her kids.

I’ve always liked the fact that Kate just doesn’t buy into all of that Hollywood crap. She represents what a real woman looks like.
