EMINEM DOES SOME GOOD

eminem-detroit

Jay Leno isn’t the only one trying to help out jobless folks in the car industry.

Eminem says he and Jimmy Kimmel will fly about 200 jobless auto workers to Los Angeles for Friday’s taping of the Michigan rapper’s appearance on Kimmel’s TV show.

The rapper is promoting the May 19 release of Relapse, his first studio album in four years.

Through a publicist, Eminem tells the Detroit Free Press that the media is ignoring people who have lost their jobs “after dedicating themselves to the auto industry.”

“after dedicating themselves to the auto industry.”

…you mean the ones that allowed the unions to demand outrageouspay andbenefits for trivial jobs which basically has put the auto industry where it is now?

I’ve always thought Eminem was gay, and still do.

I like that he is so outspoken about his feelings, even though he does come across as just a little bitter and whiney on some of his songs. I think this is a good thing he is doing, people talk about all the jobs that are lost but what happens to the people that actually lose them. They just become another statistic.

I think Eminem’s a great artist, and feel he has done a hell of a lot for the rap world. You can’t really deny that. Can you?
