Greeted by a herd of fans and photogs, Susan Boyle was seen leaving her house this morning (May 12). Upon her depature, the Britain’s Got Talent star unintentionally showed shutterbugs a little more than they bargained for.
Meanwhile, Susan says she didn’t have a makeover; she just did a little ‘to tidy myself up.”
Asked by Oprah yesterday about whether she’d be interested in updating her look, the apiring singer said: “Depends what you mean by a makeover. I mean, my best friend actually helps me with my makeup. You know, I mean, that’s hardly a makeover.”

Susan on whether she thinks she’ll win Britain’s Got Talent: “Well, I hope I have the chance, but at the same time, there’s a lot of other talent in the competition, so I’m willing to take my place with them. There’s a lot of good talent on the show.”
Susan on how she began singing at school to help her handle a learning disability: “I was kind of a slow learner at school, so getting something like singing was a good way of hiding behind that and so boosting my confidence. I sang at karaokes, which most people do for fun. And I did sing at one or two occasions within the family.”
Susan on how the death of her mother in 2007 inspired her to chase her dream: “After that, there was a wee period where I didn’t sing. You try and keep going through that pain, and that’s what I tried to do with my singing. I am very slowly getting over it. One of the reasons I applied for the TV show was to try to see if I could perform in front of an audience.”
Susan on all of the paparazzi attention: “It all takes a bit of time to take in. I mean, these things have happened so quickly. It’s pretty awesome. I think change is always very hard to come by at first, but I’m really enjoying it and really enjoying every second of it. It’s like a dream come true.”

I think she seems like a really nice lady. She comes across as completely honest and kind of shy as well. I hope she doesn’t let the big bosses change her. She is fine the way she is. Her talent says it all. Unlike a lot of celebrities out there she doesn’t NEED the sex appeal to get her by.

Photogs ruin it for themselves–Susan has been nothing but accommodating to them and this is how they get their cheap thrills
