Playing the role of doting mom, Gwen Stefani spent the day with her two boys, Kingston and Zuma, at The Grove in West Hollywood today (May 9).
Gwen is prepping for No Doubt’s big summer comeback but while family patriarch Gavin Rossdale is traveling the country touring and promoting, she’s more than happy to hold down the fort.
Meanwhile, chatting wth Spin magazine about No Doubt’s return to the stage, Gwen says: “”I have no idea what we mean to people anymore. I was on tour by myself not that long ago and selling out all over the world. But now, do people even go out anymore? The world’s gone crazy.”
As for the fast-approaching tour? Gwen feeling certain about two things: “We’ll have a blast and get some great ideas for an album.” Well, maybe not certain. “Writing songs is a torturous process. I never know how I do it. The fear is always there that I won’t be able to do it again. So, yeah, if the tour doesn’t sell and we don’t come up with anything, maybe this will be the end of No Doubt. But I highly doubt it.”

Like her a lot–but–hated her performance and song on Idol this week…
this is one of the few times i wonder about her clothes. is that a thick waistband or is she wearing some sweats underneath her jeans? LOL
It looks like sweats under jeans…I really love Gwen’s style and she’s one of the only girls that can pull off that punk/ska kind of look. I am dying for a new album from them, it will be interesting to see if they stick with the same sound or try and change things up a little.
