Britney Spears’ backstage drama Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards included her insistence that she wanted to have brown hair.
But she was overruled by her management team and she wore extensions from Jessica Simpson’s Hair-u-Wear line, Vegas Confidential has learned.
Backstage spies say Spears pitched a fit. She had arranged for her own hair stylist to make the trip for $10,000 and “she wanted to go brown, but her people said ‘no way,’†said a backstage source.
Perhaps if Britney was more concerned about her inner demons than her outer appearance, she wouldn’t be in contention to be the next Anna Nicole Smith.
Now enough with the damn excuses!!

WILL BRITNEY EVER GO AWAY? I say everyone challenge themselves to BAN BRITNEY including magazines, paparazzi, radio and television, bloggers….EVERYONE! If she is ignored by AN ENTIRE NATION maybe she will just slip into oblivion and we will be done with her pathetic ass. She should just go with the short hair already…you can see it’s long enough, it’s totally laying on top of those too-blonde extensions. If she had any confidence she’d rock the short ‘do. But it’s probably so ruined from being glued to extensions since it was half an inch long.

The story I saw was that Ken Paves quit on her ass and “made a professional decision not to do her hair”. So, good ‘ole Britney did her hair all herself. I think that sounds pretty good to me considering how horrible it looks. I don’t think she has people either or she would have been more prepared. It seems like she was trying to get everything together at the last minute after partying for two days straight. She just thinks she is and was way more special and talented then she actually is. She needs to realize she was only as good as the people pulling her strings behind the scenes were.
