KEIRA AND RUPERT’S TENDER MOMENT

They may have been at the Spanish tapas restaurant Barrafina in London, but it was only love and romance that were on the menu as Keira Knightley and Rupert Friend dined on each other last night (May 7).

The lovebirds, who have been together since co-starring together in 2005’s Pride And Prejudice, snacked on chicken wings and sipped on red wine in between their displays of public affection.

Keira is back in London after spending time in Somerset filming her new film Never Let Me Go, adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro’s best-selling novel.

Meanwhile, Rupert recently revealed that they use Skype to stay in touch — though old-fashioned love letter writing remains his mode of communication of choice.

“I love letters. It is probably a far more romantic idea to go away to sea and write letters,” he said. “But my handwriting is terrible, almost illegible. So I have to go really slowly, and I think faster when I write. So my writing goes away from me and is really not very good.”

Chicken wings? At a Spanish tapas restaurant? I do love them together though. He was so wonderful in Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont. But I like his hair longer.

It’s sweet that they’re still together. And I love tapas! I was in Spain last year and I got to experience them; the small servings (so you could go from one place to the next and so on) and variety of foods. Ahh.

Anyway, I started to watch Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont the other day with some company– but my friend got bored 10 minutes into it and begged that we watch something else. Was it good?

She’s not my cup of tea; and i’m not too fond of what she said about the internet. But they look cute together and that hat suits her.

Aysla - I loved Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont. Rupert made that movie! It’s a beautiful story.
