Dreamgirl-turned-Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has just signed on to play the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw.
As for the storyline? (SPOILER ALERT!) Last week the production team reportedly did a recce at the Four Seasons Hotel in the Big Apple. One storyline has Mr Big and Carrie house-hunting and they may use the hotel’s penthouse as a location.
The movie is set to begin shooting on Sept 19 in — where else? — New York City.

I am SOOOO excited about this movie. I can’t believe they actually the cunt Kim to sign on. She finally noticed her career wasn’t taking off in any other direction.

This sounds like a good role for Jeniffer to have after Dreamgirls. I’m glad they signed her on to a film like this.

YAYYYY So excited!! I really hope that the movie lives up to the show though…it would be so disappointing if it didn’t. While I’m really excited about a movie I loved the way that the series ended and I’m not so sure they should have gone on to make a movie….unless its really really good.
