Pop superstar Rihanna was swarmed by photographers today (May 5) as she exited Gramercy Park Hotel in Manhattan. The singer smiles and looks calm on her way to have lunch at Bar 89 in Soho.
Meanwhile, Rihanna has canceled her upcoming “comeback” concert, a show in the United Arab Emirates scheduled for May 28, the same day Chris Brown is now due in court.
A statement from promoters said she felt that the timing was was “not appropriate.” Much like those thigh-high boots.

I think the boots are pretty hot actually, but completely inappropriate for wearing in public like this. For a performance though they would look awesome! I like Rihanna’s whole style she’s got going, but I think if I ever saw someone dressing like she does in public I would think they look like they are trying just a little too hard.
