After various contradictory headlines and even more rumours, the big screen beauty will show and tell all as NBC airs a two-hour special on May 15.
Farrah’s Story is described as an extremely personal look at how the Charlie’s Angels star is coping with and being treated for anal cancer. During the filming, Farrah said: “This film is very personal. At the time, I didn’t know if anybody would ever see it. But at some point, the footage took on a life of its own and dictated that it be seen.”
Farrah says that she would have liked to have kept her cancer private, but realized others might benefit from learning about her experiences.
NBC paid a licensing fee for the footage, but isn’t saying how much.
Anyone else getting a Jane Goody vibe from all this?

I just don’t feel right when people who are dying or battling cancer share their stories. I get that it’s about awareness a lot of the time, but I feel like it’s a very private part of someone’s life and should be kept within the family. I hope she’s going well with her battle though.
