Unwed teenage mother Bristol Palin is set to participate in a national campaign to help raise awareness for teen pregnancy prevention.
The Candies Foundation, says the 18-year-old daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been appointed one of its Teen Ambassadors. She will participate in a town hall meeting on Wednesday in New York City.
Says Bristol in a just-released statement: “I feel that I could be a living example of the consequences of teen pregnancy. If I can prevent even one girl from getting pregnant, I will feel a sense of accomplishment.”
Bristol Palin gave birth to a boy named Tripp on December 27. She and her babydady Levi Johnston have separated and remain estranged.

It’s not the end of the world, she’s not from a poor family, she will have the opportunity to have an education later on. She can meet a new guy and have more children and have shared custody of Tripp.
Putting yourself as a bad example after having a child, isn’t that like saying you regret the child? How can you know that after less that six months as a mother?
