Moments ago, Barbara Walters revealed the worst kept secret in showbiz — Sherri Shepherd has officially taken a permanent co-host seat on ‘The View.’
“I’m so excited!” she yelled. “I’m actually one of the girls!”
If you didn’t know who Sherri, the former legal secretary explained it this way: “I’m the black girl on all the white shows.”
Congrats, Sherri. Let’s hope you can breathe some life into the mind-numbing show.

BV - she played Robert’s police partner on Everybody Loves Raymond. I think she is really funny. I’ve watched her guest host a few times and think she’ll do well.

She and her husband Jeff welcomed Jeffrey Charles on 22nd April 2005, weighing just 1 lb. 10 oz, when she was only 25 weeks into her pregnancy. He was allowed home after several months in the neonatal intensive care unit.
