After stealing the show last night at Fashion Rocks in a graphic Roberto Cavalli halter dress, Nicole Richie maintains her status as Hollywood’s most stylish mum-to-be in a sequined black number and matching gladiator sandals at the Max Azria Spring 2008 show on Friday during Day Three of New York Fashion Week in Bryant Park.

I agree about the dress being frumpy. It has no shape to it. I also feel that the only person who can really pull off the gladiator sandals is Cameron Diaz… with others it’s often a toss up between hit or miss (mostly falling into the latter category). She does look happy though.
Well, there’s no sign of that fug babydaddy troll lurching around her in these pics, so I’m all for this look.

that dress is a.) way too shapeless, b.) much to long for her, c.) shouldn’t even be attempted w/o heals. I’m all for confort, especially since she’s preggers, but she’s got a great looking body right now! show it off! that fashion rocks dress was perfect for her, this is just a disaster. not even going to get going on the heinous trifecta of the sandals, hair, and makeup.

I think she looks great here. Really happy, laidback and natural. I love her hair just pulled up like that. Great example of understated glam.
