Jay-Z grabbed a bite to eat last night (April 30) at Katsuya in Los Angeles with Rihanna.
The hip hip legend couldn’t walk fast enough to get to his ride as the shutterbugs swarmed the area awaiting the star’s exit.
Speaking of Rihanna, the embattled singer has been rediscovering herself soaking the sun on the beaches of her native Barbados. A transformation is evident in her that makes her father, Ronald Fenty, believe Chris Brown is “old news.”
“Chris sounds like old news to me,” he tells Us Weekly. Rihanna is “a different person, back to herself. It’s like Chris never existed. She seems reborn,” adds adds.
Another source is equally confident that Chris will not be featured in Rihanna’s future. “She’s realizing how precious life is,” the insider reveals. “She could lose it all if she’s not smarter. She’s starting to see that one wrong choice about who she loves could turn her into the next Whitney Houston.”

Don’t worry about Rihanna becoming the next Whitney Houston. She hasn’t got any where near the talent or looks. What is with this disrespect of Whitney? Whitney blew the doors off the industry so girls like her could have a shot. Especially on MTV where the base of her career lies. It certainly isn’t the music. I agree with you Jerome. Whitney Houston’s talent was absolutely incredible. She is a star. Rihanna’s voice at the best of times sounds whiney and unpolished. She will never be more than a pop star with a few good songs unfortunately. I think Rihanna’s songs are really catchy and awesome to dance to, but I’ve never been blown away by her vocal talent or performance skills for that matter. I don’t think it’s too late for her career, but people will always remember the incident with Chris and how much better she could have handled it.
