Leona Lewis’ lips appear to be still swollen following a recent horse-riding accident in Los Angeles where she was head-butted with such force her lip was spilt open.
A source tels Britain’s Daily Mirror: “Leona has been riding since she was a child and has never had a fear of horses. So she was really shaken up when the horse turned on her. Something startled the horse and it flicked its head back and smacked Leona full in the face. She was knocked flying by the force of it. Thankfully, she didn’t need any surgery but was told to stay at home and rest just in case she passed out with concussion.”
After being ordered to rest in bed, has been forced to clear her schedule. “It has pushed everything back,” adds the insider. “But she’s such a hard worker she’ll easily make up for lost time.”
Leona showed off her puckered pout as she was seen off today (April 30) by a female friend while departing LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

I wish she would go back to the curly hair; but she’s a pretty girl even with the busted lip.

For some reason that whole horse riding story just sounds like a bunch of crap to cover up her getting her lips plumped up. Weird, but that’s all I was thinking while I was reading it. The story seems a little too rambling to be true. She looks so different here as well!
why do they lie about plumped up lips.. they dont want folks to know they copy other peoples features… what a bunch of losers!!
at first I thought the same thing…I just didn’t want to come out and say it…maybe the horse hit her nose too…it looks alittle different as well
I can’t really see how a startled horse could be seen as ‘turning’ on anyone.
