Joined by humanitarian Rose Mapendo, Nicole Richie was among a galaxy of stars who attended the Peace Please event last night (April 29) in Los Angeles. The celeb-packed event aimed to raise awareness for children at risk round the world.
Nicole was joined by fellow celebs with a heart Sharon Stone, Lance Bass and Emmanuelle Chriqui.
Meanwhile, Nicole has just revealed that she was made to audition for an all girl hip-hop/rap group.
Speaking on her official website, the expectant mom writes: “I don’t know what made me remember this today, but it just popped in my head out of nowhere…”
“When I was 10 years old, I was in an all girl hip-hop/rap group. Our name? Get ready… CAUTION! It was me and my 2 girlfriends; but they were 13 so they made me audition. I was soooo excited when I got in!”
“We were dead serious,” Nicole recalls. “And I even remember part of our rap. I’m getting chills of embarrassment even typing this.”
“The rap lyrics I remember were:
“Caution! Walking down the street.
You better watch out, and step to the beat
Playing our music from town to town
Rockin’ and Rollin’ were gonna get down!”
“My poor mom had to sit there with a straight face and watch us perform and we asked her to find us a manager.”
So it seems Nicole did beat Paris Hilton at being the first to attempt a career in music afterall!

Nicole should always be pregnant. She looks amazing.
Where is that bitch bejeebus, nasty ass i guess shes impostering under a different name,. skank.
Nicole has such an awesome sense of humor and such a natural, down to earth personality. In my opinion she was the star of the Simple Life. All Paris did was giggle along with the funny things Nicole did. Sure, Paris may have been the hotter one back then but it has certainly changed now. Nicole is GORGEOUS and is ten times the person Paris is.
Nicole is hilarious as is that ‘rap’. Ha ha ha
I agree with Stephi 100%!!!
Nicole´s got a great sens of humor and is not afraid of making fun of herself!
I Love her (and Harlow)!
I can´t get enough of Nicole! I wish she would make a weekly comedy show or somthing so we could see and enjoy her regularly again!
