Mischa Barton gets chained down in bad style at the Fourth Annual Fashion Rocks event in New York City on Thursday.

The former ‘OC’ cutie, who was showing off waaaaay too much back in a silver lame gown, reflected in all the wrong places as a flurry of camera bulbs flashed the moment she took to the red carpet.

And from her unkempt hair to the extreme makeup, it appears a battle of epic proportions went down between Mischa and her glam squad. I think we can all see who lost. Poor Mischa. She never really stood a chance. Those stylists are brutal.

    Are you kidding me? She looks STUNNING! Her makeup is flawless and that dress fits her perfectly and shows off her skin in a lovely way. I love the back of the gown, it’s amazing!

    Not a fan of the gown, but I wouldn’t say it’s horrible.
    However, her makeup looks really pretty!

    Ugh she looks tacky! She actually looks unhealthy to me- like she’s been boozing it up frequently.

    Actually i think her make up looks a bit weird…blue shadow and red lips are so 80s,the era with the most horrendous make-up and style in my opinion.

    She looks very very average. Her hair and makeup looks like its just been done at the last minute and I really don’t like that shade of lipstick on her. I like the dress but paired up with her hair and makeup and lack of tan it just looks bad. I want the tanned, long haired Marissa look back!

    I hate her more than is healthy but even I could (grudgingly) admit that the one thing she had going for her was a GORGEOUS face but she looks really tacky and older here, everyone talks like she uses a stylist but people you KNOW she does this herself. If she was good at make up, I’d be fine with it, but clearly she ain’t.
    Why is her face a different colour to her body? She’s better than this!

    Her face looks really pretty here, and the dark hair really suits her. The dress is tacky… a bit too Casino for my taste.

    Her makeup is flawless?!?!?! You’ve got to be kidding me. It looks like an 11-year-old ran amok in her mom’s makeup bag. Her hair was obviously not even brushed before she pulled it back, and that dress is just the last word in tacky. It’s the sort of dress you’d find at Wal-mart, in their new evening wear line. Hate the look, head to toe.

    Mischa Barton and fashion in the same sentence is an oxymoron. Looking at her is painful. She is a trainwreck with a closet full of granny’s tablecloths for dresses.

    I don’t think she looks too bad..but she needs some butt-tape for a lift–it looks all saggy and stuff.on the right lower side.
