Greeting photogs with a big smile, Jake Gyllenhaal was clearly in a good mood as he departed Los Angeles International Airport this afternoon (April 27). Always the generous star, the 28-year-old actor took a moment at the security screening area to chat with airline employees before continuing on to his flight.

No sign of lady love Reese Witherpoon and it’s probably for good reason — she’s apparently feeling the “pressure” to marry Jake.

They’ve been dating for over two years now but the 33-year-old Oscar winner is in no rush to say ‘I do’ follow the demise of her relationship with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

“Reese’s best friend, Heather Whitney [co-owner of the LA clothing store Poppy], just got engaged,” a source tells Life & Style magazine. “She’s got Reese thinking! People around her have been speculating that she and Jake are getting closer and closer to the altar, and Heather’s engagement only puts that much more pressure on them. At least they’re discussing [marriage]. Close friends shrug and say ‘I don’t know anything’ when you can tell they know something. Everyone in their circle is talking about it. It’s like any other relationship — the marriage issue has finally caught up with them.”
