Dev Patel’s mother has confirmed that the Slumdog Millionaire actor is dating his on-screen girlfriend Freida Pinto!
The perfectly paired duo have long denied reports that they are dating each other, but after they were caught canoodling during an romantic lunch in Israel last week (where Freida is filming her latest project), the cat was out of the bag.
“First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place,” Anita Patel tells Britain’s The Mirror. “Life can’t get any better for him. Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her.”

Call me cynical but I think it is staged. Their fame has dropped and this is their way of remaining relevant.

This will not last. That girl has ambition and Dev may be one step above her ex, but she will eventually meet someone “better” and dump him. Not sure why his mom’s so excited about her son dating a woman fresh out of one marriage.
I think they make an adorable couple! She is completely gorgeous! I don’t know how long it will last though, I think maybe they have just got swept up in the whole Slumdog whilrwind they have both been a part of in recent months.
